Wednesday, August 6, 2025 3:37 PM
Ever browsed a long page and thought, “I wish that menu would stay where I can see it,” or “That header would look sharper if it faded in while I read”? With the upcoming EverWeb 4.4 release, those little wishes become easy reality.
The all new Scroll Effects let you tweak any object; navigation bars, photos, call-to-action buttons, even background colors, as your visitor scrolls your web page.
No coding, no widgets, just point-and-click simplicity from the EverWeb Inspector.
Scroll Effects will let you adjust elements as your visitor scrolls through your page. Pinning objects to the top of the browser window, changing their background color, adjusting scroll speed and so much more.
The most common use case is pinning your navigation bar to the top of your web page as your visitor scrolls your site. This keeps your website easy to navigate and clear. Bu there is so much more scroll effects can offer...
What Scroll Effects Let You Do
Pin key elements: Keep your main menu, logo, or phone number glued to the top of the browser so visitors never have to search for it.
Stack section titles As readers pass each page section, its label slides under the one above, building a tidy breadcrumb trail.
Push hero images gracefully The first hero pins in place; the next one nudges it away when it’s time for a new story section.
Fade, scale, and recolor content Gently reveal a headline, shrink a testimonial as it scrolls out, or shift a banner’s background hue to signal a new section.
Fine-tune scroll speed Make a background photo drift a hair slower than the text in front for an effortless depth effect.
Hide what’s no longer needed Remove sections from your page as your visitor scrolls when they are no longe needed.

How to Add an Scroll Effects - Three Quick Clicks
Select the object you want to animate.
Open “Scroll Effects” in the Shape Settings -> Inspector Tab and check the effect you need—Pin, Fade, Color Change, and so on.
Set a start point (pixels for pixel-perfect heroes, or percentages like “10%” for fluid designs) and preview your page in your browser
That’s all. EverWeb handles the behind-the-scenes adjustments, making sure the timing stays rock-solid on every device.
Real-Life Ways to Use Scroll Effects
Front-and-center navigation Your menu sticks to the top, its background turns semi-transparent after the first scroll, and a “Contact Us” button glows when the visitor hits the footer.
Step-by-step product tour Each diagram pins to the top of the browser, explains itself, then glides out as the next one pushes in—perfect for hardware showcases or recipe walk-throughs.
Focus-first landing pages Hide decorative shapes once they’ve delivered their punch so late-loading phones don’t waste time on unseen assets.
Scroll Effects turn a plain, scrolling page into a more interactive experience. They keep important actions such as buy, subscribe, contact, in plain sight, while adding just enough motion to feel modern and intentional. Best of all, they live right inside EverWeb’s no-code workflow, so you can experiment freely without breaking anything.
