Ever wished your website felt a little more alive?

EverWeb 4.4 will introduce a brand-new way to add interactive, animated effects to your website — Mouse Hover and Mouse Click Animations. This new feature gives you fine control over how any object on your page reacts when a visitor hovers over it or presses it.

These effects are perfect for making call-to-action buttons stand out, highlighting interactive areas, or simply adding personality to your site without touching any code.

Add Mouse-Based Animations to Any Web Page Element

When you select an object in EverWeb, you’ll now see a Mouse Transition & Animations section in the Inspector. Just enable it and choose from dozens of visual effects.

You can set:

• Transition Time: Control how fast the animation runs

• Mouse Over Animation: Animation that plays when a user hovers over the element

• Mouse Down Animation: Animation that plays when a user clicks the element

The new animations feature is especially useful for:

• Buttons – make your “Buy Now” or “Get Started” buttons bounce, pulse, or shake on hover to increase clicks

• Images – animate images on mouseover to add depth or hint at interactivity

• Icons – make icons more intuitive by adding click feedback

• Navigation Menus – help users understand what’s clickable with subtle animations

The all new mouse effects and animations work on any element you add to your website, including your navigation bars. The options are endless with how you can add a little personality and flavor to your designs.

Tips for Using Animations Effectively

• Keep it simple: one animation per element is usually enough.

• Use hover animations to guide, not distract.

• Click animations are great for giving feedback — they help users feel like something’s happening.

• Combine this with loading Animations to add that extra touch
