Native M1 Support

This version of EverWeb brings native support for the new M1 Macs so EverWeb will work much faster for all the lucky new owners of the new ARM based Macs.

Website Search

The number one big feature we’re introducing is website search!

Now you can easily add a search bar to your EverWeb website and let your visitors find exactly what they’re looking for in seconds. EverWeb’s website search feature gives you 3 styles of search.

1. Search results can be displayed in a completely new page
2. They can be displayed as a popup window
3. Or the can be displayed as a drop down menu from the search bar

Website search is completely customizable to match your website design. You can completely customize both the behavior and the design.

Signifcant Speed Improvements

We’ve added significant speed improvements, especially for widgets. You should notice widgets will render faster within EverWeb and publishing will be much faster as well.

SEO Improvements for Higher Search Engine Rankings

We’ve added improvements to the SEO PowerUp Add-on to add more open graph tags to your websites automatically. We’ve also improved SEO for blog posts allowing more customization for descriptions and keywords. Blog posts can also get customized short summaries for the posts and archive pages.

More New Features & Fixes

You can choose to host jQuery locally rather than from a third party server such a Google so that in countries where Google servers are blocked you can make sure your website loads as quickly as possible.

A Test SMTP details button for the contact forms has also been added and a reverse wrap option for the Responsive Row is now available. 

We’ve fixed a number of bugs as well including with mouse over effects, RSS feeds and searching for unused Assets.
